So. Almost done Buffy season three. (Skipped some episodes. Could not deal with how badly everyone handled the Faith thing. There was cringing.)

Is it bad that my main reaction is "AWWW BABY WES"?

ETA: Other reason for skipping? Everyone being horrible to him right from the beginning and then blaming him for said Faith thing.

YES SEASON 3. Where suddenly he tries to do what he thinks is right and Angel TRIES TO KILL HIM. With a pillow, wasn't it? And everybody's bitchy and horrible to him. If I'm remembering right. Or that might be the end of S2. Wherever it was that they decided vampire babies were a good idea. (Hint, Whedon: Vampire babies are *never* a good idea :|)

I understood ANGEL, because the man lost his son and man has ISSUES, but Fred and Gunn and Cordy all deciding to abandon him? After knowing what he was trying to do and why? Really? Ugh.

I actually didn't mind the bizarre baby plot because we got Connor out of it, but. Season three reeeally could have handled it better. It does get much better in season four?

Yes. I mean, his reasoning was so *clear.* He did something that hurt him to do, because he thought no one else would want or could see to do it. That's really *brave,* even if it turned out badly, and then everyone shunned him :|

I was never a Connor fan .-. I think I have anti-vampire-baby prejudice.

It does? But--but then they kill Fred D: Don't they? *may reconcile self and watch someday*

Exactly! Sure, he should have told the others - but he was also working on hardly any sleep, and probably didn't want to burden anyone else. A mistake? Sure. One he deserved to die for? No.

Aww. :( He's just so complex and tragic and I just want to hug him.

It does! It even retroactively explains Cordy acting like a pod person! Wesley gets accepted back into AI, and pretty much becomes the leader again! ...And yes they do, in season five. :( But then we get Illyria.

Rotfl The more I grow to love Faith, the harder it is for me to watch everyone blow her off in S3. |DDDD;;;; (And to watch her make The Worst Decisions Evah.)

Arresting Faith to take her back to England did turn out pretty badly, but Wes became the scapegoat. Everyone else had abandoned Faith from the second she got there, but no one ever owns up to that.

Yes! :( What the hell did they expect? (Seeing her glee over a Play Station broke my heart. She's so young.)

It'd be better if they did, but no, it's all Wesley's fault for actually doing something, however badly it turned out.
